The actor, singer and 1970’s teen pop idol David Cassidy died today in Fort Lauderdale aged 67. His breakthrough came with his role in The Partridge Family where he played alongside his step mother Shirley Jones, and his solo singing career that followed made him one of the most successful stars of that decade.
However the recent past was very rough for Cassidy and sadly this will be the period that the obit writers will focus on . Not here on queerguru though, we will always remember him as that cute puppy faced young man who sang those impossibly sentimental sappy songs that we loved then as much as we loved him.
