Even during this world partial lockdown the fashion industry still soldiers on and keeps up its creativity. So we asked Graham Fraser our Contributing Fashion Editor to take us through the best menswear looks for next Fall.
He writes : One of the first off the block with a riot of color in its designs and show set, was Milan based Prada. This new first co-creatively menswear collection authored by the legendary Miuccia Prada and Belgian, well pedigreed, designer Raf Simons.

Starting with a singular moti ,on an all in one suit and expanding thought the collection with the use of color contrasts. Color was also a knockout feature here as well in other collections including Paul Smith, Burberry, Louis Vuitton and a brightly colored duvet coat and trousers at Fendi.

Jeremy Scott at Moschino has had his paints out during lockdown. Scott produced a collection of classic 40’s Hollywood inspired menswear, with all garments painted looking like they had stepped out of a b-movie.
Dior menswear designed by Englishman Kim Jones was inspired by military tailoring and encompassed the paintings of international artist Peter Doig.
Some outfits had a painted quality to them and notably a black coat taken from a night sky painting of Doig’s. Kim Jones later this week also debut his first womenswear couture collection for Fendi in Rome. More art inspiration was shown at OAMC.

Standing apart from all this was the dark angels at Rick Owens all dressed in sombre black, with masks and some under garments on display.
Not all the big labels showed so early so expect more menswear to come later alongside the womenswear for Fall 21.
