Singer/songwriter Jordan Hunt’s new music Ocean Door is a highly personal piece about his first encounter with his now partner the choreographer Christopher Thomas.
The song documents how Hunt first locked eyes with him at London’s St Pancras Railway Station but he didn’t have the courage to go up and say hello. As he walked away Hunt muttered to himself ‘”Next Time’ little knowing that was only minutes away.
As they both boarded the same train Hunt seized the moment to speak to him .,…….. and they have been together ever since.
Hunt, a composer, vocalist and multi instrumentalist and was once a member queer art-pop orchestra The Irrepressibles, produced this new music video with Thomas. Ocean Floor had been originally written as the final moment of a soundtrack for Thomas’s dance theatre work To The Ocean Floor that premiered at Sadlers Wells Theatre last year. Now it’s a beautiful love letter that celebrates their relationship
