26-year-old Chaz Cardigan is part of a generation of new queer singers/songwriters who are determined to get the rest of us out of our comfort zone. This Kentucky native ‘came out’ at 13 which we guess made him toughen up real quick. He moved to Nashville as soon as he could in order to follow his dream of making music.
This he did in between working “every part-time job you can think of” eventually self-released a series of singles throughout 2018 that continually were placed on Spotify‘s New Music Playlist. Last year he released his major-label debut, Vulnerabilia. which was self-produced with him playing all the instruments.
The EP was preceded by the single “Not OK!”, which became Cardigan’s first radio single, and charted as a Top 20 Alternative song, and is the one Queerguru fell in love with
