Hornet, the queer social network has partnered with the It Gets Better Project to give some Queer Sex Ed tips The five-part series is anchored by sex educators who will conduct frank discussions with young LGBTQ+ people ……. but are any of us too old to benefit from fresh viewpoints.
With a very straightforward approach, the series will feature real people having candid conversations about the often embarrassing and misleading sex-ed misconceptions they had as kids, their real-life experiences and learnings as sexually active adults, and discussions with professional sex educators who provide context to the topics being discussed.
Eboni Munn, the It Gets Better Project’s Director of Brand Marketing, Content & Creative told QUEERGURU “This new series is a bold and intimate look into how folks within our community first learned about sex and dives into conversations that we normally have amongst our friend groups in private,” “What makes Queer Sex Ed so special is that it provides an in-depth look into the conversations happening in our living rooms or at our kitchen tables with close friends and it leaves takeaways for our viewers to ask questions and/or reignite conversations within their own circles.”
In addition to broadcasting the long-form video content series to its users, the Hornet team also worked to ensure the Queer Sex Ed series is accessible to as many LGBTQ+ users worldwide as possible, by translating the series into many of the app’s core languages.
