Country singer Tyler Childers‘ new track “In Your Love” tells a beautiful story of gay Appalachian love. It is not only great to listen to but the music video tells the story of two male coal miners, played by Colton Haynes and You star James Scully, who fall in love in 1950s Appalachia. The two begin a secret affair, exchanging meaningful glances in the mine, four-leaf clovers in a field, and kisses in secret.
Queerguru met the fabulous Bebe Zahara Benet back in 2021 when we talked about her movie Becoming Bebe and it was love at first sight. Now this iconic winner of the inaugural season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” returns today with her thumping, bass-laden single, “Heavy.” It’s made us fall back in love with her again
After co-writing a musical with Elton John on gay icon Tammy Faye, Scissors Sister frontman American Jake Shears stayed on in Elton’s London house. It’s where he recorded a new album Last Man Dancing, an ode to house-party hedonism. Shears describes it. “Think James Bond meets Batman Forever in a U2 early-90s closing credits crescendo explosion. If I were to DJ for you at 3am, this is exactly what the set would sound like.”
Adam Lambert was the headliner at London Pride and his version of Sylvester’s You Make Me Feel Mighty Real became the official Pride Anthem …… and then he replayedit in NY.
P.S. It seems at one time even Adam was tempted to record his version of Padam Padam ….check this out
