Queens County Farm Museum is one of the longest continually farmed sites in New York State dating back to 1697. The historic site consists of a 47-acre tract of farmland that showcases the 300-year history of agriculture as a way of life in New York City.
It is not literally farmed by ‘queens’ (as far as know ) BUT it is having its very first PRIDE ON THE FARM EVENT on July 31st. As well as an LGBTQ+ resource fair and Drag Queen Story Hour to give kids and their families glamorous, positive queer role models they have fab things life real hayrides. Plus as well as farmer-led tours of Queens Farm, it is the last day of The Floral Escape floral pop-up!
The organizers promise ‘bushels of fun’ for this Pride Event with a difference
