Less you should think that the US has the monopoly of famous people fallen from grace and still behaving badly then you need to check out this wee gem PRINCE ANDREW THE MUSICAL. A hilarious, all-singing, all-dancing reimagining of the Duke of York’s badly misjudged TV interview. The British Royal thought if he spoke out in public then all would be forgiven. He wasn’t the first ‘celebrity’ to be arrogant enough to think his status in society meant he could get away with his dastardly deeds.
As history now shows Andrew actually made things worse for himself and the Royal Family and became a public laughing stock and was banished by the new King to a tiny six-bedroom cottage. It was good fodder for writer/actor Kieran Hodgson the creator/star of this made-for-television biographical musical comedy film. We all had a good laugh ……except poor Prince Andrew. And those under-aged girls he was charged with molesting. That is never a laughing matter
