Some girls just cannot catch a break. Like Stacy. Back in 2004 as a very young teen she brought a boyfriend home, who ended up fancying her mother instead. The pop/punk group Fountains of Wayne wrote about the drama in a song that they aptly called Stacy’s Mum. It didn’t end well for anyone. The band became a one-hit wonder and the prospective boyfriend didn’t even make it to first base. Well, the mother was played by fashion model Rachel Hunter who in real life at the time was Rod Stewart’s wife. They divorced two years later.
Now almost 20 years later Stacy’s love life is the subject of yet another song, which is a cute twist on the original ….. and a helluva lot funnier. Its by singer-songwriter Mad Tsai and its not a sequel, lets just say he queers it up nicely.
In the video stars Tsai as a football player who spends much of the time sans shirt and he is noe the love interest of the stunning Stacy There are of course plenty of other shirtless dudes walking around, which Stacy may not notice but we and Tsai sure do.
