Polari is an Award-winning LGBTQ+ literary salon, in London established in 2007 by author Paul Burston, with guest writers and performers. It won ‘LGBT Cultural Event of the Year’ in the Co-op Respect ‘Loved By You’ Awards 2013 and a Golden Kitty Award from Lesbian Lounge.
Described by The Huffington Post as “the most exciting literary movement in London” and by The New York Times as “London’s most theatrical salon”,
Now it’s going ‘on the road ‘ in a northerly direction to the city of Manchester which many LGBTQ+ folk will remember as the setting for the original smash hit TV series, Queer as Folk. This is part of the Group’s 14th Birthday celebrations and promises a night of drag, poetry, and storytelling
