Polari is an Award-winning LGBTQ+ literary salon, in London established in 2007 by author Paul Burston, with guest writers and performers. It won ‘LGBT Cultural Event of the Year’ in the Co-op Respect ‘Loved By You’ Awards 2013 and a Golden Kitty Award from Lesbian Lounge.

Now it’s going ‘on the road ‘ in a northerly direction to the city of Manchester which many LGBTQ+ folk will remember as the setting for the original smash hit TV series, Queer as Folk. This is part of the Group’s 14th Birthday celebrations and promises a night of drag, poetry, and storytelling
