The expression twirling in our minds right now is ‘ you cant keep a good woma down‘. We’re not totally sure if that is complete;y applicable to Peaches Christ as some would say that is really stretching the definition of good. One thing is for sure, you can never keep her down, in ay send of the word.
She’s bringing back her long-lost demented, blood-splattered classic cult film ALL ABOUT EVIL this June , and naturally is making the re-launch as splashy as she can. To celebrate, Peaches Christ herself will present the film at “Peaches Christ 4-D Screenings” along the West Coast, including the Los Feliz 3 in Los Angeles on June 9 and the Victoria Theater in San Francisco on June 11 where the film was shot. Fans in Los Angeles can also attend a Blu-ray signing event at Dark Delicacies on June 12 with Peaches Christ and members of the cast.
Natasha Lyonne may head the cast along with Thomas Dekker, Cassandra Peterson and Noah Segan but look out for the fabulous Mink Stole one of John Water’s favorite muses.
If you cannot make it to the West Coast or are simply too scared to face Peaches up close and personal (!) then you should know that Severin Films are releasing a Special Edition Blu-ray, and the movie will be screened on the Shudder network on June 13th
