Patti Lupone is about to lose her Fire Island virginity this coming weekend

THE Patti Lupone is catching the ferry tomorrow to make her Fire Island Debut.  Why it has taken so long for someone to invite her to perform there is beyond us, and naturally the tickets sold out, pronto for her Show this Saturday night.  So the silver-tongue promoter and co-owner of the Ice Palace Daniel Nardicio talked Ms Lupone into doing a second show this Sunday

Her show is called “Songs From A Hat ” in which lucky members of the audience get to pick out of a hat one of the very many hits from  Ms LuPone has performed in her iconic career.  And she has had more than a few as a three-time Tony Award winner for her performances in Company, Gypsy and Evita.

Ms Lupone can currently be seen opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Ari Aster’s new film Beau is Afraid,,, and at the moment is filming a role in the new Marvel series Coven of Chaos. It’s been 11 years since she brought the house down at that other gay summer mecca of Provincetown and it has been a major mystery to us locals why we haven’t seen sight of her there since.

We are making the trek to the barrier Island clutching our tickets and we have even booked passage on the late-night ferries that are being laid on  Our tip?  The tickets are selling like wildfire so  BOOK NOW

Tickets for Sunday can be purchased HERE There are late-night boats to the mainland both Saturday
and Sunday post show,
