On what would have been HEKLINA’s Birthday on Saturday, June 17 The Palm Springs Cultural Center will be celebrating her life love, laughs, and filthy jokes. The party will be hosted by Mario Diaz, Vanity Halston and Anita Treadmill with performances by her friends: Deven Green & Handsome Ned, Mutha Chucka, Monistat and Matthew Martin & Andy Clements
It will be followed by very special screenings of Heklina a documentary short (2013) by Brian Favorite and The Drag Roast of Heklina (2019) courtesy of Revry
With special thanks to the Cultural Center for donating the space and Damian Pelliccione and Revry for allowing us to screen The Roast (filmed in 2018 at the Castro Theatre).
