OPEN SPACE ARTS presents new films in its QUEER EXPRESSION program which confronts homophobia  head-on.

 

 

Hot on the heels of Chicago’s Reeling LGBTQ Film Fest that kicked off today the City’s gay community is being spoilt for its choice of queer cinema.  Next up,  OPEN SPACE ARTS presents new films in its QUEER EXPRESSION program. which confront homophobia  head-on.  Their goal is simple yet profound: to foster understanding, acceptance, and empathy through engaging performances, readings, film screenings, workshops, and community outreach efforts. 

Open Space Arts  are dedicated to championing the dignity of every individual, cultivating inclusive spaces where diverse voices are celebrated and authentic stories are told. 

QUEER EXPRESSION: BEST OF THE FEST,  wll feature an engaging selection of ten short films and two mid-length films, streaming online in October. This vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ stories is part of the broader QUEER EXPRESSION initiative, showcasing an array of innovative plays and films.

QE BEST OF FEST Fall Shorts will stream from October 2 to 15, presenting a diverse lineup of ten captivating short films. Following that, QE BEST OF FEST Fall Mid-Length Films will be available from October 16 to 29, featuring two remarkable mid-length films that delve into unique queer narratives.
