One person we know who is more excited than most of us that the Lockdown is being slowly lifted is the talented actor/performer Andre Jordan. Queerguru is very happy for him as we felt we were possibly a little responsible for his past year.
Last March we filmed an interview with the irrepressible Jordan who was about to make his Broadway debut in the upcoming new musical Diana. Check out HERE how excited he was about this major breakthrough for his career.
Of course, very soon afterward Broadway was shuttered and the Premiere of Diana never happened.
Fast forward to now and a new announcement that Diana which was filmed in its home at the Longacre Theatre will air on Netflix on October 1, The show will then open on Broadway on December 16, 2021, with previews beginning on December 1. That’s not Jordan in the clip below playing the Princess (well, what did you expect she was a natural blonde after all and if you have ever seen THE QUEENS PROJECT, you’ll know Jordan is not.) But he’ll be there dancing and singing his heart out …we cannot wait. |
