New Queers on the Block is a Brit collective of imaginative and very individual performance artists who specialise in presenting their unique avant-garde pieces. Based in Brighton, a decidedly queer seaside town, the group also love to hit the road taking their art to some unsuspecting audiences across the country.
Touring artists included: Rachael Young, Hester Chillingworth, Marikiscrycrycry’s, and Stacy Makishi and at each different city they invited a local queer artist to join the show that night. They played packed houses in Brighton, Bradford, Blackpool, Hastings and Folkestone..
When they were touring last year performing on all these different stages they had cinematographer Rose Powell film it all, and today they have issued the result of her work
