The multi-talented & award-winning musician Mike Flanagan (also known as MikeMRF) made PTown his home a few years ago and has never looked back. He has really made his mark performing in most of the town’s music venues including the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret and Tin Pan Alley Provincetown where he at both venues is also the Entertainment Director.
This video of his that we show below has a very personal significance to him as he wrote/ recorded it when he was still heartbroken after losing the ‘most important relationship’ of his life
He said I knew I wanted the music video to reflect that feeling and experience. I wanted it to depict all of those day-to-day aspects and what that loss and vulnerability look like between two men. I had never seen that narrative in a music video and apparently, no one else had either. Isoken Steve Osemwenkhae shot and directed the video and to this day I can’t thank him enough. He and James, 2 straight men who did not even flinch at creating it with me; I love them and am so grateful for both of them!
The video has deservedly had over 1 million hits and after you watch it you’ll probably want to make tracks to PTown to find out for yourself if one of Queerguru’s favorite ‘bears’ is now single …..or not!
