It’s one thing to successfully negotiate the roller coaster of an open gay relationship but real-life married couple Michael Feldman and Michael Rachlis actually use theirs as a basis for their very engaging web series Michael and Michael Are Gay. If you missed their first critically acclaimed series, don’t worry you can catch up on You Tube before you start devouring the second series that started on December 4th.
This West Hollywood couple met in a Club back in June 2011 and soon after they swapped names they embarked on a passionate affair and had moved in with each other. It was however a few years later when the video of Michael proposing marriage to Michael went viral did the penny drop that other people shared their very particular sense of humor. Fast forward to today and they are now mining their 7 years together ( 2 of which they have been married) for this very smart and sassy webseries loosely based on their relationship.
The Michael not only share the same first name but the pair uncannily look alike too which adds to some of the hilarious situations they find themselves in ……some of which are very close to the knuckle so best not viewed in the Office.
If you are a part of a gay married couple, or are thinking about becoming one, or just downright curious/nosey, then Michael and Michael are Gay may just make you re-think. Either for better or worse, but nevertheless you will soon get hooked on this very cute series.
