Miami Beach is a real party town and one of the very past is the annual WINTER PARTY FESTIVAL. This year is destined to be even better than usual as they are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the organizers the National LGBTQ Task Force. This week-long festival……from March 1st – 7th…. is an annual dance and music festival that will feature a fabulous diverse mix of people, music, and entertainment.
They expect over ten thousand attendees, with twelve signature events and twelve international DJs hosted in seven exhilarating world-class Miami Beach venues. What the Task Force produces is a celebration of the community, to raise critical funds for the LGBTQ movement .
Since it was founded in 1994, Winter Party Festival is a safe haven for the LGBTQ and allied community to celebrate and live freely. Since 2005, the Task Force has given back more than $3.3 million and supported over 90 community organizations in South Florida and will directly fund social justice causes locally and nationally. Winter Party brings nearly $4.2M in revenue to Miami, supporting over 800 local jobs in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, recreation, and entertainment.
