Miami Beach Pride 2022 : There’s No Place Like Home

Most places in the  US celebrate PRIDE in June, except for Miami Beach because it is far too hot.  And we are talking weather … (and maybe the skimpy clad men that take to the sands to party away).  So Pride is in April in this happening city with its significant diverse international LGBTQ+ community. The unique make-up of local residents who call Miami home creates the need to celebrate Pride in a style that reflects both the culture and the joie de vivre of such a dynamic city.

This year Miami Beach Pride

with the theme ‘There’s No Place LIke Home’ kicked off its week of activities on April Ist with a ceremony for Raising The Flag and also Flipping the Switch for the Pride  Lights,

The Main  Festival  in Lummus Park alongside the beach kicks off Saturday at midday and inside the Festival Village will be

Calming Pavilion + Beyond Limits Performance Stage

“Garden of Eve” Women’s Pavilion

Lambda Living Lounge

Transgender Safe Space (Tea Tent)

Prideline’s Youth Village Safe Zone Activation

Peroni Lounge

Vizzy Hard Seltzer Trailer Activation

Jack Daniel’s Airstream and Games Activation

Miller Lite Beer Truck

Two performance stages (TD Bank Stage & Celebrity Cruises Stage) will highlight diverse Headliner performances from local/national artists

The Village opens again on Sunday when the highlight of the whole weekend the PARADE takes to the iconic Ocean  Drive. It is a spectacular sight, and a sheer joy seeing the community come together as one, and then it’s back to partying until way too late.

P.S. And if you are really bougie and want to mix with the Anna Delvey’s of the world then you can always go VIP
