If you want to hang out, socialize, relax or party with other like-minded people in Leather, Rubber and Uniforms, then you’ll be thrilled to know that Mates Weekend in Provincetown is back for its 24th Edition from Sept 30th – Oct 4th, Brought to you by Rick Conley, longtime Provincetown resident, and leatherman. it is all very energized after having to cancel last year because of the Covid Lockdown.

‘This year, as ever, there is a great and varied program scheduled from an energetic Boot Camp to leisurely Waterfront Cocktails :  here are a few of our personal favorite events

Military, firefighter, police… What’s your fantasy? Fire up your stogie under the stars or under the tent at this sub-event for the cigar fetishist.  Dance to the beats of DJ Chris Racine.  Also, Northeast Community Bootblack 2011/2012 & MLW Resident Bootblack Jay Falcon will be on hand to shine up your boots.

Leather Tea & Meet the Meat
6pm – 9pm

Not your mother’s tea…  Dance to the beats of DJ Wayne Michael.  This is your chance to “Meet-the-Meat”, hosted by (TBA), who will introduce and number your 2021 First Mate Contestants and Judging Panel.  Choose your favorite contestant and let him know what it will take to get your vote.  Number Master:  Nelson Martinez

Get your tickets for the MLW Raffle to benefit ASGCC.  ALWAYS a big list of great donations to win from local and visiting merchants & restaurants.  Raffle will be called at 2:15 by First Mate 2001 David Oravez with prizes awarded by Jeff Arnold.  You must be present to win.

Danny Pantaleo  and Billie Jean Beetam from SNIP Salon will fix you up so you look your best.  There is no charge for this service but Danny & Billie Jean donate ALL of their tips to ASGCC.  (suggested donation $20+).  They are the best in the Buzz-Biz.

This is the last MLW event of the weekend to have your boots shined up from award-winning MLW Resident  Bootblack Jay Falcon

First Mate Contest

Sign up at Registration or Leather Market for the contest and you could take home a $500.00 cash prize, a two-night stay at Queen Vic Guest House during MLW 2022, a $100 gift certificate to Full Kit Gear Shop and the title First Mate 2021.  NO REGISTRANTS ACCEPTED after 2:30 PM. Right-click and save here for a printable First Mate Contestant registration form and drop it off when you pick up your pass on Friday.
