One of QUEERGURU’s favorite queer Tony Award Winners LEVI KREIS is heading to perform at the Palm  Springs Cultural  Center next month.  Singer/songwriter Kreis won his Tony as  Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet but has appeared in other Broadway Shows such as Don’t Let Go, One Red Flower: Letters from ‘Nam, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, and Pump Boys and Dinettes . Plus starring in National Tours of Rent and  Hadestown..

However, you may remember Kreis from his association with Del Shores as he starred as Pastor Jimmy Ray Brewton in the film A Very Sordid Wedding .  In addition to this, Kreis won the OutMusic Award for his song “Stained Glass Window”, a song inspired by the Del Shores play Southern Baptist Sissies.

His one-man one-night show in Palm Springs  on April 5th is called SAND, STARS & GUITARS: LEVI KREIS and one of the numbers he will probably  be performing is

BUT if he were up for doing requests we would insist on him singing Carole King’s ‘Will You Love Me Tomorrow‘  which he performed at Broadway Cares Fundraiser 6 years ago and always send tingles down our spine .
