Just when we thought that TV couldn’t get any more bizarre with its programming we get news landing in Queerguru’s in-tray that makes us re-think that completely You may need to sit down before you read any further,
The Roku Channel is launching SQUEAKY CLEAN a 10-episode cleaning competition game show that has three contestants go head to head across two rounds to see who is the best cleaner for a $5k cash prize. The show has a rotating panel of celebrity (!) judges such as Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk, comedian Loni Love, Real Housewife Erika Jayne, Olympics Commentator Johnny Weir, comedian Kym Whitely, Real World’s Jamie Chung, TV Host/Stylist Jeannie Mai, and comedian Iliza Shlesinger.
However, before you stop reading, we should tell you that the Show does have one very big plus going for it: the host is none other than one of Queerguru’s very favorite funny men LESLIE JORDAN. If there is anyone who can get laughs out of watching quirky, detail-obsessed participants as they race against the clock to see who can sparkle and shine through some messy challenges, then it’s him
Leslie told us“ Stains may be tough, but the competition is tougher and ‘Squeaky Clean’ definitely takes playing dirty to a whole new level. Hosting ‘Squeaky Clean’ was like the best chocolate fudge sundae you’ve ever had, and I’m excited for viewers to see how the contestants “sweep up” the competition.
Squeaky Clean will be available on The Roku Channel later this month. In addition to Roku devices, The Roku Channel is available on Web, iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV and select Samsung TVs and can be accessed internationally in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
