Kissing our way through a Queer Christmas

Each year at this Holiday  more adverts appear that go out of their way to be LGBTQ inclusive which our welcomed by our community but also brings out a whole array of rampant homophobes.  The good news is that by bringing public attention to the fact these adverts portray gay men and women as happy loving people their protests not only backfire but make other parts of the community appreciate  the levels of hatred we still have to deal with.

The new H & M Christmas add set to Judy Garland singing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and we not only see two women flirting over doing the laundry, and then a very sexy kiss between two men in a dark stairwell.  Proving that blondes really do have more fun.

Some peeps in Brazil have got their knickers in their twist over a film on Netflix which portrays Jesus as a gay man with a boyfriend. We are kind of shocked too as we always thought that Jesus was actually a woman of color.  Anyway its given the Right Wing something to get more excited about than actually celebrating Jesus’s birthday as some 1.4 million have signed a petition asking Netflix to  act like the Pope and ban the film.

Australian fashion brand Bonds that make some must-have underwear has a Christmas campaign that features different couples sharing romantic and intimate moments, including two men  sharing a tender kiss over breakfast, with the caption, “It’s the little moments that make the Christmas season so special.”

No one knows exactly how many women actually belong to the Million Moms Group BUT we do know that they are all undisguised rampant homophobes who try to bully others into accepting their extreme views.  They tried it with Hallmark recently and they conceitedly celebrated too soon, as after a hiccup (!) Hallmark told them where to go ……and all over a very sweet innocent lesbian kiss

TGIF is another conglomerate that now accepts Pride is not just restricted to one month lasts the whole year especially Christmas.

P.S. Queerguru were lucky enough to go a Preview of the new Stars Wars film..  A lot of fuss is now being made of the fact there it actually includes two women kissing.  We are happy at what some are calling a major breakthrough, but we should warn you not to blink because it is so fleeting that most people will miss it
