If you have been missing Joanna Lumley aka Patsy Stone in the BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous since it disappeared from screens, well we’re here to tell you she’s been very busy. The two-time BAFTA Award winning actress has been trotting around the UK with a film crew capturing her every move.
Her new TV series from UK’s ITV channel is “Joanna Lumley’s Home Sweet Home – Travels in my Own Land” . With barely a sign old Patsy and never a fag in her mouth she’ll travel from the Yorkshire Dales to St Michael’s Mount, from the Highlands of Scotland to the cobbles of Coronation Street, retracing old steps, meeting inspiring people, and exploring the wonders of the country she calls home.
Miss Lumley told us “I seem to have spent a lifetime traveling the world, but as I get older, I realize there’s so much of my own country I haven’t seen. So, I decided that using my traveller’s eyes…I’m going to turn that vision onto this country, the place that I now call home.”
