Photographer James Reed is the real reason that we have been glued to watching the Winter Olympics, particularly the bobsled racing. It is an expensive sport and so to raise the $70000 to get the U.S. Team to Beijing so Reed had the idea of creating a calendar of the entire squad nearly naked.
The Bob Spread shows that there is no one athlete or body type that can push a sled well. They are all different and push fast for different reasons. The Calendar highlights what’s not often seen beneath the helmets and the speed suits, albeit in a pretty ridiculous manner.
