Is Joe Vs Carole finally the end of the Joe Exotic saga?

After three seasons of the Netflix documentary about the life of the outrageous gay former zookeeper and convicted felon Joe Exotic , you would think that the public would have no more appetite for his antics.  How wrong you would be.

There were two feature films/series in the work although the one starring Nicolas Cage has gone mysteriously silent.  However, Peacock TV’s series Joe vs Carole is about to hit our screens on March 3rd.   It is actually based on the second season of Wondery’s “Over My Dead Body” podcast which is an anthology series about people who are pushed beyond their limits and do unspeakable things.

Carole Baskin, a big-cat rescuer, commences a crusade to end GW Zoo owner Joe Exotic’s animal shows and cub-breeding business. When Joe’s livelihood is threatened, he retaliates, inciting a 10-year feud between the two big-cat lovers that find them becoming sworn enemies. With the past informing the present, Carole and Joe’s fight is messy, vicious, and outrageous, ultimately ending in an attempted murder.

In its favor, it has a brilliant cast led by John Cameron Mitchell,  and Kate McKinnon, with  Kyle MacLachlanDean WintersBrian Van HoltWilliam FichtnerNat WolffSam Keeley,  And judging by the trailer below is very funny indeed …..that is if you are not already over  Joe (not very ) Exotic.
