The new Queen of England looked so miserable and had such a resting bitch face during the whole Coronation today. She should have looked around the Abbey and seen how REAL royalty acts. Like Queen Máxima of the Netherlands who was there with her husband King William Alexander.
Queen Maxima has already become something of a gay icon last year when during a working visit to San Francisco, she paid a visit to Twin Peaks Tavern, a historic gay bar. There, the Queen was a very big hit as she spoke to other queens and the local LGBT+ community about acceptance and inclusive society.
So if you want to escape all this over-zealous nationalism and rampant flag-waving in London and Camilla’s miserable face, then you should hitch a ride back with Queen Maxima to the Netherlands.
It is after all one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly nations in the world, and we think the best way to start to soak up its rich queer cultural history is to take Amsterdam’s Gay History Tour. PS The Woman Who Should Have Been Queen of England was a real friend of all us Dorothys also made a very famous visit to one of London’s best gay pubs The Royal Vauxhall Tavern. She accompanied Freddie Mercury and Kenny Everett who disguised her in men’s clothes. We miss her deeply and she was the Queen we deserved and as such was very much in our minds today
