News has filtered in from Down Under of a new queer show on Australian TV SBS’s channel that is destined to be a smash hit. One of the episodes of the anthology series, Erotic Stories, stars out gay actor Tim Draxal as Jet who has an encounter on a train with the much younger CJ (Joel Lago) Their attraction is both immediate and intense but Jet insists they hold off until CJ comes to a queer event that night at Spectrum Club.
This is one of eight self-contained episodes that deeply explore sex and intimacy. Each one is set in completely different worlds, each with a fresh cast, and each telling a new story. The creators promise that they will ‘bring sexy back to SBS
We last saw Draxl starring in In Our Blood, the four-part musical drama that traced the Australian government’s response to the burgeoning AIDS crisis in the 1980s. For his performance, he was awarded a TV Week Logie Award Nomination for Most Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series.
