Queerguru has been a proud member of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics for some years. So naturally we will tuning into REVRY TV tonight for a very special event : the live screening of the Dorian TV Awards.
The Awards, named in honor of the queer writer Oscar Wilde, in reference to his novel The Picture of Dorian Gray are film and television accolades given by GALECA . Its 260 members give these awards to recognize the best in film, television, and performance for the prior calendar year. They will be honoring “the best, most visually stunning and even campiest of the past TV season”
For the very first time in GALECA’s history, this will all take place in a two-hour awards ceremony airing on Revry, the LGBTQ+ network streaming via app.
