The famously infamous street fair that draws in leather/kink/alt-sex community from around the world is BACK. 39 years this year, so they are well into their daddy phase. Go in all your gear or none at all and take to the streets of the deliciously weird and wonderful fair in San Francisco  …… here are some of the highlights

 

MASTEURDOME – TOM OF FINLAND.Folsom Street Fair’s largest Saturday night Presenting Sponsor dance event at the Regency Ballroom!! Expect epic production, amorous visuals, and performances with DJ sets by house legends PAGANO and KARSTEN SOLLORS. Special basement photography sessions with the iconic MIKE RUIZ. Over 1200 sexy leather lovers, bears, pigs, voyeurs, exhibitionists and kinksters from around the world will descend on the historic 6600 sq. ft. The Playground can’t wait to welcome you to the 17th year of women’s, trans folks’, and non-binary people’s space at Folsom Street Fair! All day long we’ll have hot queers, cold drinks, exquisite play, and spectacular performances by world-class artists. Bring dollars for tipping, don your most epic fashion, and join all your hot friends for a Folsom you won’t forget!
If your group includes cis men, please enjoy the Queer Commons where you can sit in the shade, watch the Playground stage, and mix and mingle with ALL the queers of all genders. We love our accomplices and need your support to hold this treasured space.
The spaces we create and have created over the decades for women, trans, and non-binary folks are crucial. The work to create this space at Folsom has resulted in better community and tons of learning and growing. It means that more of our queer family who otherwise wouldn’t or couldn’t come are not only welcomed but celebrated. This year, we’ll work to make the Playground more welcoming, safer, hotter, and always a space where pleasure and justice can intertwine. The Playground is hosted by the fabulous Alotta Boutté

Twisted Windows: Metamorphosis An extravagant Folsom Eve Gala featuring exquisitely enticing, sensually subversive, and particularly perilous queer performance art, including aerial acrobatics, suspension bondage, pole dance, and fetish acts, as well as interactive and display art & other participatory marvels. This year our Folsom event explores metamorphosis – “a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.” As always, proceeds go to compensate performers/staff and to support the arts venue. Performers will be announced soon!
