His career started with a ticket to Australia where he was spotted, which propelled him to the heights of the modelling world. He has now worked in cities all over the world with agents in London, New York, Paris, Milan, Auckland, Hamburg, Los Angeles and Sydney but primarily based in London. Along with his high profile campaigns for the likes of Hugo Boss and international editorials, he also gives over his spare time for championing mental health issues.
The biggest milestone in his modelling career was working for and being photographed by for a major TOM FORD advertising campaign. Yates favourite locations for working are the Philippines because of its paradise beaches and New Zealand with its mountains, landscapes and lakes, he finds them so impressive and quiet. His personal style is wearing mainly black clothing with a few notable pieces from Burberry or YSL, but for everyday he favours looks from affordable Spanish brand ZARA.
His motto in life is “ Not trying kills more dreams than failure ever will”. Too true!!
