Europe’s largest Circuit Party Festival comes to Miami

Since 1985 Miami Beach’s WHITE PARTY has been one of the very best annual Circuit Parties.   Run by Care Resources a major support facility for those with HIV and AIDS, over the 30 plus years it has raised millions of dollars to help those in need . We have always been proud not just of the sterling work they do, but the fact such a very high percentage of the monies was raised ploughed back to helping patients and not spent recklessly in mounting the Parties …..unlike so many other organisations.

Now for the very first time since 1985 they are sitting thai Thanksgiving Weekend out.  In a statement Jonathan Welsh, Associate Director of Development and Communications at Care Resource stated that “the changes has been very visible and the change has been very obvious” in regards to the White Party. Morphing the event from a circuit party to more of an occasion for all members of the LGBTQ community changed the party, and now, Care Resources is “further defining” their mission to help HIV/AIDS patients.

He did however leave a window with the possibility that the White Party may be back in 2020.

Whilst this may leave a big financial hole for Care Resources, however it won’t leave the LGBTQ community without a Party Weekend  as Europe’s biggest gay festival is  coming to Miami.  Circuit Festival Miami is a massive five-night, four-day fiesta run by same people who have been running the Barcelona since 2008  where it has become Europe’s largest gay festival..

The are being joined by established local promoters Luis Morera, Billy Kemp and Hilton Wolman who run URGE parties here in Miami.

It all kicks off Thanksgiving night with an opening party at Cameo., then on Friday, the festival takes over Club Space for the electricity of dance music all night long. The weekend continues Saturday and Sunday inside Miami’s massive Magic City Studios with various events and soirees. There’s also a big beach party on the sand—La Leche Beach Party which will feature a stage with dancers and music by DJs Phil Romano and Dan Slater and they are promising a  surprise secret live performance.

A portion of the proceeds from Circuit Festival Miami will benefit Miami Beach Pride which is always welcome BUT Queerguru feels that Care Resources should be on the receiving end of a sizable donation too as they put in all the hard work in for the past 30 years into making the city THE place for the LGBTQ Community to celebrate Thanksgiving .
