It came quite a surprise to us when we realized that with all the globe-trotting Editor/Photographer In Chief Liam Campbell has done over the years he had never featured Paris and the rather wonderful Frenchmen who live there in ELSKA. We love The City of Lights so much that QUEERGURU has our very own Contributing Editor and resident Parisian. Richard Gilles  (you can check his work out at https://queerguru.com/?s=richard+gilles)

So this latest issue of ELSKA features a cross section of beautifully ordinary local men from one of the world’s most legendary capitals.  Liam Campbell told Quuerguru “It was essential that one day we’d make an issue in Paris, it’s just one of those great world cities. But it was a little intimidating approach a place with such a reputation, and one that evokes so much stereotype and expectation… I decided that the best way to approach Paris was to go without any plans, to just meet whoever was up for meeting us and to let them guide us through their city and their lives. The people are certainly beautiful, but it is in the way they carry themselves, express themselves, and reveal their love for Paris and for each other that really seduces”.

The ten local men from the LGBTQ community who are part of this issue, really make you fall in love with Paris.

ELSKA  is available from a select group of shops around the world as well as for orders online from the Elska website.
The list of stockists and details of the subscription service can also be found on the Elska website
