One of Queerguru’s favorite out gay singer/songwriters, Eli Lieb went back to his Fairfield Iowa to talk to the kids at his old High School after a 14-year trans boy who was a pupil there took his own life. He talked about the support that was available to them nowadays if they ever felt stress or pressure and distributed literature from the Trevor Project the national LGBTQ youth suicide helpline.
Lieb also wrote and recorded the song When You Need A Friend which is on the video below. It’s just another reason for us to like him even more.
P.S. Queerguru would love you to bits if you did us one tiny favor. Despite the fact that we have had almost 250K hits on YouTube (yeah!) they will not give us a single cent of the advertising money that they make off us until we have more subscribers. Won’t cost you a dime, but it will help support our site. Just simply click on the link below. Thank you very much!
