Queerguru’s fav violinist/singer EDMUND BAGNELL has just sent us his latest video : he told us it was ‘Only You’ which we mistakenly thought was a personal message! (Well we did spend one summer in Ptown with only a wall between us…) It’s Edmund’s classical take on Boifab Yak’s version …. and its the perfect mellow interpretation for the start of summer.
Edmund, one quarter of Well Strung (dare we say Boy Band) string quartet, also loves going solo ….. musically speaking that is, and he loves touring internationally as a solo performer too. We loved a recent review from the Times Square Chronicle who wrote “his smile took over the entire stage when he began his show at Birdland, and when he finished, the entire audience was smiling just as wide.”
This past fall he released a new EP, The Road, which includes the original songs The Water and The Road and they will part of his program when he perform in Palm Springs on Thursday, May 23rd at the CVRep theater. Then in August he has shows in both PTown and Rehobath, andhas also hinted that he is about to announce a show on Fire Island on June 20th.
