Well, this is a first. A new sexy comic LGBT web series that is set in Victorian England. The Canadian team behind A GAY VICTORIAN AFFAIR that includes queer creator Robert Watson and director Andrew Lamb very aptly describe their show as Downton Abbey meets Queer As Folk and it is very funny indeed.
Shot entirely in Toronto’s Historic Campbell House. that makes it seem so authentically Victorian England, it plunders the depths of all the sexual double entendres and saucy talk of the bedroom escapades of both Lord Reginald (Adrian Proszowski) and Lady Vanessa Faversham (Amanda Barker). He is a gay man and she a lesbian and so they have entered into a marriage of convenience to keep their real desires a secret. It’s just that they are both so rampant and obsessed with having as much sex as they can, you just know that the cat is going to get out of the bag sooner than later.
Check out the first episode below, and trust us you’ll be binge-watching the whole first series. Then if you get totally enamored as we think you will, you could even help them ensure there is a second season by going to their Fundraising Page HERE
