In the world of Fashion, there seems to be nothing like the present.  Whilst we poor souls in the real world (!) are just getting excited about the first glimpses of this summer, the creative team at Dior has already completed their plans for 2023.  On Thursday night on Venice Beach, a coterie of handsome young men strutted down the makeshift runway showing what will be hot in resortwear that we could be wearing next year.

It was a capsule collection designed by Brit Kim Jones who is  Director of Dior Men’s and also Artistic Director of  Fendi womenswear and also by American Eli Russell Linnetz the creator the ERL line.

 

The collection merged French flair and California style and was so colorful and totally uplifting.  Now we accept that some of you are tutting under your breath that you wouldn’t be seen dead in these clothes.  Maybe not, but they will most definitely influence the shapes and colors in the clothes that will end up in the Mall.  The Dior collection is one to inspire us, and let’s face it we could all do with some of that these days
