Dawn French is one of the funniest women in the UK. Period. Actress, writer, presenter French is known for writing and starring on the BBC comedy sketch show French and Saunders with her best friend and comedy partner, Jennifer Saunders, She then sealed her status as an icon to the queer community by playing the lead role in the BBC TV series The Vicar of Dibley. Nominated for seven BAFTA TV Awards, French won a BAFTA Fellowship with Saunders in 2009.
Now she’s going solo and has planned a headline UK tour for 2022 entitled Dawn French Is A Huge T**t. She says: “This show is so named because unfortunately, it’s horribly accurate.“There have been far too many times I have made stupid mistakes or misunderstood something vital or jumped the gun in a spectacular display of t**ttery.“I thought I might tell some of these buttock clenching embarrassing stories to give the audience a peek behind the scenes of my work life.”
