A trailer has just been released of David Bowie: The Last Five Years a stunning new documentary with some never-before-seen footage which looks primarily at Bowie’s recordings and release of his final two albums, The Next Day and Blackstar. Directed and produced by documentarian Francis Whately, who also made David Bowie : Five Years in 2013.
Bowie, was an iconic figure, much beloved in the LGBT community for not just his remarkable and unique talent, but also for his androgynous style and his true sense of purpose.

This bittersweet doc will premiere on HBO on January 8th, which would have been Bowie’s 71 birthday.
