Openly gay actor Charlie Carver put his life (well at least his body) in the hands of his fellow castmates of Boys In The Band the other night at Broadway Bares: Game Night, the annual striptease spectacular benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Matt Bomer, Robin de Jesús, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins a were challenged with trivia questions, and for each incorrect answer by the cast, Carver had to strip off an article of clothing. When he finally got down to his gold jock strap, they relieved him of that too
The whole evening directed by Nick Kenkel, co-choreographer of Half Time at Paper Mill Playhouse, and Laya Barak, a dancer, and choreographer gave game night a tantalizing twist with striptease production numbers inspired by board, video, and arcade games. All in a very good cause as this year the evening raised a staggering $1,875,090 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Other performers included ‘Summer’ Tony nominee Ariana DeBose, The Phantom of the Opera’s Jay Armstrong Johnson, Escape to Margaritaville’s Alison Luff and Rema Webb, recent Kinky Boots star Kirstin Maldonado, Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita, Mean Girls Tony nominee Ashley Park, The Lion King’s L. Steven Taylor, SpongeBob SquarePants’ Wesley Taylor, and two-time Tony winner Judith Light.
Meanwhile earlier this month Aladdin’s Josh Drake really showed his metal (and a whole lot more) when he played a trainer to a group of really hot classmates for a scene in Broadway Bares: Strip U. choreographed by Sidney Erik Wright.

Despite the fact that we have had almost 250K hits on YouTube (yeah!) they will not give us a single cent of the advertising money that they make off us until we have more subscribers. Won’t cost you a dime, but it will help support our site. Just simply click on the link below. Thank you very much!
