Queer P Town artist Kyle Ringquist talks about his art ….. and more

Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels , ,

When queer NY artist Kyle Ringquist left the city after 9/11 he found his own piece of heaven in PTown in a Studio/Gallery literally on the beach with a spectacular view of the harbor. There he developed his own style of ‘reverse painting’ which not only made him very successful, it also literally landed him his own boy-next-door boyfriend.

He told all to Queerguru in this interview with Roger Walker-Dack that was filmed by #DanDesjardins

P.S. Queerguru would love you to bits if you did us one tiny favor.  Despite the fact that we have had almost 250K hits on YouTube (yeah!) they will not give us a single cent of the advertising money that they make off us until we have more subscribers.  Won’t cost you a dime,  but it will help support our site. Capturing The Flag : a story of disenfranchisement

Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels ,

In this current political climate where every single vote counts more than ever Anne De Mare’s compelling doc Capturing The Flag about the very real disenfranchisement of voters in North Carolina should motivate all of us before the Mid Term elections this Fall.

Interview with Roger Walker-Dack was filmed at Roux  during  Provincetown Film Society & Festival

Whiskey Sommelier Heather Greene whisked up some mean Japanese Highballs when we ran into her at   Roux   during  Provincetown Film Society & Festival & now we are totally hooked. She’s the author of the best selling Whiskey Distilled: A Populist Guide to the Water of Life, and possibly our new best friend!

Esera Tuaolo : Body of an NFL Player & the Voice of an Angel

Posted on Categories queerguru.tvLabels ,

Esera Tuaolo  “Mr. Aloha”  may still have the build of an NFL Player, but he also has the voice of an angel. When he retired from playing football, he came out as gay, had twins, appeared on TV’s The Voice, and started his very own anti-bullying campaign.  Oh yes, and he just won Best Restaurant Chef Award back in his home state of Minnesota even though he doesn’t actually own a restaurant.

This summer will be yet another new first for this hunky Hawaiian Samoan man as he takes a six-week residency with his own show singing all his favorite songs at Provincetown’s Pilgrim House.  That’s where Queerguru sat down to talk to this disarmingly charming man who is creating quite a stir in town before his Show has even opened.’

The interview with Roger Walker-Dack was filmed at The Pilgrim House by Dan Desjardins for www.queergurutv.com  (PS Esera sang for us too)
