One of the things we are really passionate about at QUEERGURU is queer cinema and the film festivals that breathe life into it. One relative newcomer to this field is the SAN FRANCISCO QUEER FILM FESTIVAL, which we are very proud to share, as we have supported it since it started 6 years ago.

The city is home to a myriad of Film Festivals, including the legendary FRAMELINE Queer Fest that has just celebrated its 50th Anniversary!  However, queer cinema is so healthy right now that we need more places to launch new indie films into the world, and that’s where SFQFF comes in. With some very inspired programming that covers the whole LGBTQA+ acronym family, this two-day event is now firmly on QUEERGURU’S MUST SEE LIST.

In our interview, we caught up with Kevin Thomas to get all the lowdown on this year’s festival
