Joel Kim Booster is really having fun this summer, and all of us at Queerguru are loving it all (and we must admit, him too) First he wrote and starred in Andrew Ahn’s delightful and intoxicating FIRE ISLAND which is THE queer rom-com of the summer. It was actually based on Joel Kim’s own past adventures. …hmmm .
Next came PSYCHOSEXUAL his hilarious Netflix debut Comedy Special. If you haven’t seen it yet (!) then you will see him riff on leaked selfies, dining at P.F. Chang’s, and keeping secrets, about being gay, being adopted, sex, drugs, and relationships. etc . There’s even a long section on cats versus dogs …. he is actually quite the comic genius.
Now he’s got together with GRINDR …….(yes they do more than ‘THAT’) and takes part in their new video series “69 Questions”. They ask him a series of fun, super-duper on-topic rapid-fire questions regarding their tastes and views on everything. It is surprisingly good
