Can actor Roe Hartrampf make you fall in love with ‘Prince Charles?’

Finally DIANA THE MUSICAL will get its Broadway Opening this Fall in November.  The year’s delay has allowed them to do a cast recording of the whole show which will be available in September.

Meanwhile, the Producers have just released “The World Fell In Love,” the first official piece of music from the Show.  It features actor Roe Hartrampf who plays Prince Charles, and frankly, we think the world may fall in love with him just from this clip. Hartrampf is making his Broadway debut, but previously, he appeared off-Broadway in the Second Stage productions of the one-act comedy The Bad Guys and the reality show musical Nobody Loves You and the Classic Stage Company production Unnatural Acts, about gay students at Harvard in the early 1920s.

Diana the Musical has book and lyrics by Tony winner Joe DiPietro, and music and lyrics by Tony Award winner David Bryan,  and the life of the people’s princess will unfold over two acts and 22 original songs.  But you may end up just listening to the ones that Hartrampf sings as Charles the Prince that in real life no one loved much at all.

The  Original Broadway Cast Recording will be available September 24 across all digital service providers and on CD with a booklet featuring the full lyrics and liner notes by Joe DiPietro. The album is produced by David Bryan and Ian Eisendrath, the show’s Olivier Award-winning music supervisor/arranger. It can be preordered at https://dianathemusical.lnk.to/albumPR.
