Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw better known as GALANTIS are a Swedish electronic dance music production, songwriting and DJ duo love working with artists who are gay icons.
They have already worked with the likes of MADONNA, KATY PERRY, KYLIE and BRITNEY who love the sound that these (extremely handsome) men produce., especially Britney whose “Toxic” earned a GRAMMY award for Best Dance Recording.
They have even got to the point when others artists make cover versions of their songs : our favorite being Jake Wilson who changed “Girls on Boys’ to the much more appropriate ‘Boys on Boys’, With a video Shot on location at Nowhere Bar in New York and featuring soulful vocals by Broadway’s Tamika Lawrence, the video follows a shy, naive-looking gay man (Sam Digiovanni) who finds bliss on the dance floor amidst handsome revelers of all shapes and sizes.
Now the boys have teamed up with the Queen of Country Miss Dolly Parton for a club-friendly reworking of ‘Have A Little Faith In Me’ a John Hiatt classic. In the video, Dolly is dressed up in all her finery but is in the unlikely role of the driver of a bus that breaks down. Though the passengers are distraught at first, they gradually become encouraged to start their own dance party before taking the revelry, flash-mob-style, to the field outside.
The Galantis boys rarely appear in their own videos but this time in honor of Dolly they can be seen joining the festivities from atop the bus.
