Just when we were wondering where one of THE hottest Brit actors TOM HARDY had disappeared to, this new video popped up in our inbox. His last starring role was in 2020 when he played the title role in Capone ….. a movie that was shunted to online only in the midst of the Covid panic. Hardy picked up some good reviews although the movie didnt.
In Queerguru’s books, Hardy’s best movie (to date) Is Bronson a 2008 British biographical black comedy prison film The film follows the life of this prisoner, considered Britain’s most violent criminal, who has been responsible for a dozen or so cases of hostage-taking while incarcerated.[
Hardy’s new highly anticipated movie is The BikeRiders that tells a fictional story inspired by the 1967 photo book of the same name by Danny Lyon depicting the lives of the Outlaws MC, a Chicago-based motorcycle gang. It’s set in the 1960s, and is as seen through the lives of its members and their families, the club evolves over the course of a decade from a surrogate family for local outcasts into violent organized crime, threatening the original founder’s unique vision and way of life.
The film traces the rise of such a club through the eyes of the wife of one of its members. When Kathy (Jodie Comer) meets uber-cool biker Benny (Austin Butler in his first post-Elvis role), it’s love at first sight. The problem is Benny’s boss and club founder Johnny (Tom Hardy), seems to love him just as much.
