Just two years ago The Little Black Gallery in London joined forces with Paddle8 an online auction house based in New York City to create a queer photography showcase,
Sadly Paddle8 filed for Chapter 11 for bankruptcy protection in March 2010 after the non-profit New American Cinema Group filed a lawsuit against the company for allegedly misappropriating funds from a charity auction.
However their joint project BOYS, BOYS, BOYS with Little Black Gallery survived and quickly blossomed into an online haven for art lovers with an erotic focus on the male body
Now they work with some 57 photographers from more than 24 countries, Boys! Boys! Boys! with gay photography from across the globe – including some unexpected countries states such as China, Iran, Poland and Russia,
They offer online exhibitions every month, and is beginning with a showcase of work by Danish photo-artist Michael Søndergaard, whose darkly beautiful works deal with masculinity and identity.
All the works are offered for sale and in fact the royalties from the latest Boys! Boys! Boys! book are currently going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
