A few years Bobby Miller the legendary photographer and one of PTown’s favored sons, upped sticks and with his husband moved to a rural dream in Great Barrington. (that Vogue labeled the ‘quiet cool Berkshire town.” ) This was by no means the first time that this native of Washington DC has been on the move and one of his longest sojourns was in NY City.   It was the time of Studio 54 and the real start of celebrity culture, and  Bobby was there up front and center photographing it all.

It was the start of a 45-year career creating a  stunning portfolio of portraiture.  It wasn’t just the fact he was able to get a never-ending roster of artists, actors, writers, drag queens to pose for him, but it was the unique style in which he captured them that makes his body of work so remarkble and just a sheer joy to behold.
